MY MOTHERLAND

My motherland is Sri Lanka. It is a one of the most popoular Asian countries. It surrounded by the Indian Ocean. There for my country is an island. Thambapanni , Lankadeepa and Ceylon are similar names for my country. We used to call this island The Parle of thw Indian Ocean . 

Sri Jayawardhanapura is capital of my country.

 There are four main religions in my country. They are Buddhism, Christianity, Hindusm and Islam. Sri Lanka made sinhala as main language my country. 

Sri Lanka is a dimocrotic country. 

My country is rich of many resources. Sri Lanka is very beautiful country. It has attractive waterfall , beautiful rivers, amazing gardens. Many tuatrists like to visit my country. Because of the attractiveness.

 Sri Lanka has long proud history. It was a british colony before 1948. But out until our heroes could rescued from them. That day was confirmed as our independence day on February 4th , 1948.

Now the Sigiriya. Which was used as a rock shelter is included part of the a world heritage.

 The formal president Hon.Gotabaya Rajapaksha. 

Our country has many cultural event such as Sinhala & Tamil New Year , Ramazan , Thaipongal , Christmas.

Then I love my little island very much.

Nicholas is a young age child. When I think of Nicholas's character. Although he does one mischievous act by putting a frog into his meal. He has many positive, good characteristics. I feel Nicholas is a highly intelligent boy and the previous child. He has a very good knowledge of planning and very clever. And also he is a good tactician. Nicholas is highly imaginative and has a fine sense of appreciation.  

 He takes the chance of enjoying things he finds in the lumber-room. He can evaluate the thing currently wherever they are. As he is good observant he enjoying by looking at the things in the lumber-room although the aunt had put them aside in the lumber-room. He can think of many things in an imaginative way. He takes opportunities whatever he was given even as a punishment without repenting over them. When I think of the characteristics of Nicholas I appreciate him very much. Aunt can advise him. Without given punishment.

My cat's name is kitty. Cats are very cute. It belongs to the domestic species of small carnivorous mammals.

I chose a cat as my pet because cats are the best pets for children. Cats are the best pets in all of history. They are adorable and smart. Because they purr on my lap and fall asleep quickly. cats are smart because cats can train to use the toilet in a place. Also, they are soft and fluffy. They give love to humans, are easy to take care of, and they sleep more. The first reason to own a cat is because they give love to people. They cuddle up to people. Also, they make a purring sound when they are petted.     

 I like its long tail. Its eye color blindness. Cats cant see the color separate. But they Brother us while we eat. The cats are playful. And better to have fun to play with us. Sometimes it help us to prevent from rats. Sometimes it is easy to tell their feeling by looking at their tail and eyes. The gift cats have are that they have a good sense of hearing. They can hear 60,000 hertz.

They are well behaved and are cleaners. Cats spend half of their time cleaning themself. The final reason to own a cat is that they sleep more in the day. Cats sleep 18 hours a day. And are very calm. because they do not always run around the house. Cats were with me in my childhood.
